INGREDIENTS

For Pyaaz Matar Ki Sabji
  • Green onions, 1/2 kg
  • Peas, 1 Bowl
  • Cream, 2 tsp
  • Oil, 1 (1/2) tsp
  • Mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp
  • Cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp
  • Asafoetida, 1 pinch
  • Green chilli, 2-3
  • Garlic Ginger Paste, 1 Tsp
  • Tomatoes, 2
  • Red chili powder, 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder, 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel powder, 1 tsp
  • Garam masala, 1/4 tsp
  • Salt, as per taste
  • Water, 2 tablespoons

INSTRUCTIONS:

For making Pyaaz Matar Ki Sabji
  1. We will put the pan on the gas and put one and a half teaspoon of oil in it.

  3. Now add asafetida, mustard seeds, cumin seeds and stir.

  5. Now add chopped green chillies, ginger and garlic paste and tomatoes. Saute for 2-3 minutes.

  7. Add dried spices and saute for 1 minute. Now, add cream and cook some more

  9. Add some water and mix all the mixture well.

  11. Now put peas and green onions in it and stir it well. We do not have to cover it because onions start releasing water, so let it cook with lid open, and then cook till it releases oil.

  13. Your delicious green onion vegetable is ready, you can eat it with any paratha roti poori, garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot.
