Today we will prepare a traditional recipe of “Mewar” Rajasthan, known as Makki ki Roti. It is very tasty but needs practice and certain technique to cook.
We have made this recipe in traditional way on chulha. This dish is normally consumed in winters.

INGREDIENTS
For Makki Ki Roti
- Corn Flour 1 Kg
- Water to knead
- Salt 1 spoon
- Ghee for garnishing
INSTRUCTIONS:
For making Makki Ki Roti
- Take corn flour and add salt in it.
- Add little amount of water again and again and knead.
- Make dough.
- Now made ball out of dough.
- Make the shape of roti with the help of hand.
- Put rotis on the traditional gas (Chulha).
- Cook well the roti from both sides.
- Put it out of flame and add desi ghee on it for better taste.
- Serve hot.

NOTES AND TIPS:
- You can cook rotis on gas if you want for traditional touch we have used chulha.
