INGREDIENTS
For Corn Flour Dhokla:
- Corn Flour (Makai ka aata) 3 cup
- Green Peas 1/2 cup
- Coriander Leaf 1/2 spoon
- Cumin Seeds 1/2 spoon
- Carom seeds 1/2 spoon
- Turmeric Powder 1/2 spoon
- Red Chili Powder 4 spoon
- Coriander Powder 1 spoon
- Fennel Powder 2 Spoon
- Ginger, garlic, green chili paste
- Alkaline Salt (Papad Khar) 2 Spoon
- Water for Kneading
INSTRUCTIONS:
How to make Makai (Corn Flour Dhokla):
- Put 2 glass water in a pan and heat.
- Now put Alkaline Salt and cook for 10 min.
- Put on the gas and heat the pen.
- Now Sieve corn flour and put all Spices and ingredients in it & mix well.
- Add Alkaline Salt water and knead and make dough.
- Now Make the Dhokla shapes as desired.
- Now take Dhokla cooker and put a holed plate in it and add water in the cooker d boil water.
- Now put one more plate with holes in it for base for dhoklas.
- Put the dhoklas in the cooker.
- Lid the cooker and let it steam cook for 10 min. in High flame and 20 min. in medium flame.
- Dhoklas are ready to serve with Ghee, Urad Dal, Jaggery or Curd.

NOTES AND TIPS:
- You can cook the dhoklas in deep pan also with the help of plate with holes in it.
- Remember not to put too much of Alkaline Salt.
- Alkaline Salt is also of salty Nature, so use a little quantity of salt in Dhoklas.
