INGREDIENTS
For Kala Chana Chaat
- black chickpeas, 1 bowl
- Sweet soda, 1 pinch
- Mustard seeds, half teaspoon
- Cumin seeds, half teaspoon
- Red chilli powder, one teaspoon
- Coriander powder, one teaspoon
- Turmeric powder, half teaspoon
- Garam masala, half teaspoon
- Mango powder, one teaspoon
- Garam masala, one teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Oil, 2 tablespoons
- Onion, 1
- Tomato, 2
- Green chillies, 2 - 3
- Coriander leaves for decorating
INSTRUCTIONS:
For making Kala Chana Chaat
- Chana should be kept in water overnight or for 7-8 hours.
- In the morning, we will remove it from the water and put a pinch of soda in the cooker and boil for 4-5 whistles. Then, open the cooker.
- Now put oil in the pan, add mustard seeds, cumin, green chillies, onions, tomatoes, and stir for 2 minutes. Now we will add all the dry spices mentioned in the ingredients.
- Mix well and add boiled chickpeas and stir for two to three minutes. After that, we will add green coriander leaves on top.
- Our chana chaat is ready. Eat and serve it to the guests too.
