INGREDIENTS
For Gehu ki Kheer (Gehoo ka Kheech)
- Wheat (without peel), 400 grams
- Milk, 1.5 liters
- Sugar, 250 grams
- Ghee, 2 tbsp
- Cashew, almonds, raisins
- Cardamom powder, 1 tsp
- Rose water, 2 tsp
INSTRUCTIONS:
For making Gehu ki Kheer (Gehoo ka Kheech)
- First of all, take 400 grams of peeled wheat and keep it in boiled water in a cooker for 10-12 hours.
- The next day, after adding water as per requirement, we will put it on the gas for cooking, and allow it to cook until 8 to 10 whistles come. After that, cook it for 15 minutes on low heat.
- Take 1 liter of milk in the pot, heat it well and add the cooked wheat Kheech to the milk and keep stirring it slowly while mixing it well. The mixture will continue to cook until it thickens.
- After that, add sugar, ghee, chopped dry fruits and cardamom powder in the Kheech and mix it well and allow it to cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
- Turn off the gas, now we will add Rose water to it and mix it.
- Your wheat Kheech is ready. Serve hot. Eat, feed and enjoy.

NOTES AND TIPS:
- Continue to stir the dish while cooking, otherwise it will stick to the bottom.
- When Kheech gets thick, add some hot milk again.
