INGREDIENTS
For Gajar Ka Halwa
- Carrot, 4 kg
- Sugar, 500 grams
- Milk, 1 liter
- Ghee, 250 grams
- Dry fruits = Cashews, Almonds, Raisins
- Cardamom powder, 1 spoon
INSTRUCTIONS:
For making Gajar Ka Halwa
- First of all, wash the carrots thoroughly in water and then peel it. After that we will grate it with food processor.
- Then place the Pan on the gas, add the grated carrots in it. Let it cook for a while so that all its water dries up.
- After that, add ghee in it and will cook it for 8 to 10 minutes. After that we will add milk to it and continue to stir well. You can also add mawa to it. If you add mawa then you can reduce the amount of milk. We will cook this on medium flame.
- When the milk gets dried up and the mixture starts to release ghee, we will then add sugar in it.
- After mixing it well, add all the dry fruits and stir for another 8-10 minutes, add cardamom powder and mix it. Will turn off the gas.
- Our carrot pudding is ready to eat. Take out the halwa in a serving tray and garnish it with almond cuttings.
