INGREDIENTS
For Balushahi:
- all purpose flour 1 cup
- Curd 1/2 cup
- ghee 150 gms. for kneading
- ghee for frying
- sugar 2 cup for sugar syrup
- 1 pinch baking soda
- For Garnishing => Nuts (pistachio Shavings) and rose petals
INSTRUCTIONS:
How to make Balushahi (Indian Sweet):
- Take all purpose flour in a bowl & sieve it.
- Now add baking soda, ghee, curd and knead it.
- Don't use water in kneading.
- Rest the dough for 15-20 min.
- Now mix the dough & make a big roll.
- Now make Roti shape out of it and make a cut in between and do the same for 4-5 times.
- Now make small ball and shape it like balushahi.
- Now take a pan and pour ghee for frying balushahi and heat it.
- Put balushahi and fry it till it turns golden brown in color.
- Now dip it in sugar syrup.
- Remove it from sugar syrup in 15-20 minutes.
- Decorate with pistachio shavings and rose petals.
- Now mouth watering soft, crispy and delicious balushahi is ready to serve.

NOTES AND TIPS:
- You can store it with for at least 15 days without dipping in sugar syrup.
- do not use water for kneading.
- made 1 thread sugar syrup.
- keep the flame low while frying.
