INGREDIENTS
For Agra Petha:
- White Pumpkin 2-3 Kg
- Lime stone Paste 2 tablespoon
- Sugar 1.5 Kg
- Gulab Jal 2 tablespoon
INSTRUCTIONS:
For making Agra Petha:
- Cut pumpkin into pieces.
- Remove seeds from inside.
- Peel and cut into big chunks.
- Now put holes into chunks with the help of forks.
- Now add lime stone paste into water and mix it.
- Put chunks into limestone water and let it rest overnight.
- Now wash chunks 4 times from fresh water.
- Now boil water.
- Add chunks and cook it for 80% to 90%.
- Now boil water and add sugar in it and mix till sugar dissolves.
- Add chunks and cook it till chunks filled with sugar syrup.
- Let it out till sugar becomes thicker.
- Let it rest for 4-5 hours.
- Petha is ready to eat.

- Put flame on low when Boil.
- Keep in air tight container for longer use.
