Let’s make a summer drink known as Aam Panna made with raw mangoes. This drink keeps the body cool in the summer heat and is a bit sweet.

We will use raw mangoes to make this drink.

INGREDIENTS

For Aam Panna
  • Raw mangoes, 3 (about 400 grams)
  • Sugar, 3/4 cup (as per taste)
  • Black salt, 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin powder, 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper powder, 1/2 tsp
  • Dried ginger powder, 1/2 tsp
  • White salt, 1/2 tsp
  • Chaat masala, 1/2 tsp
  • Mint leaves, 7-8

INSTRUCTIONS:

For making Aam Panna
  1. Wash and peel raw mangoes. Take out the kernels and cut them into small pieces.

  3. Put the water on the gas to boil and put the mango pieces in it and let it cook. After 5 to 7 minutes, turn off the gas and allow it to cool.

  5. Pour everything in a bowl and add all the spices.

  7. Now put this mixture in a mixer jar and add some ice cubes and sugar to it.

  9. Now grind it well and add chaat masala to it. This will enhance its taste.

  11. Add water as per your requirement. Your green mango panna (sherbet) is ready.

  13. Take it out of the jar and pour it in a glass and put some ice cubes and garnish it with mint leaves. Your chilled Aam panna (Mango sherbet) is ready to drink.

  1. You can keep the Aam Panna in the bottle and keep it in the refrigerator for 4 to 5 days.
